Patrizio Di Massimo Italy, b. 1983

Patrizio Di Massimo (b. 1983) is an Italian artist who currently lives and works in London. He received his MA from the Slade School of Fine Art, London in 2009 after completing his undergraduate at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brea in Milan, Italy. He has participated in residencies at Stipendium Kunstzeitraum, Munich; De Ateliers, Amsterdam, Sommerakademie at Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern; and Fondazione Spinola Banna per l'Arte, Poirino, Italy. He has had solo exhibitions and performances at Frieze Art Fair, London (2016); Fiorucci Art Trust, London (2013); Artissima, Turin (2013, 2008); and the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2012). Di Massimo has participated in group exhibitions at Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Milan (2016, 2012); CURA Basement, Rome (2016); PAC, Milan (2014); Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin (2013, 2010, 2009); Maxxi, Rome (2012) along with many more. Di Massimo was a finalist in the Premio Italia 2012, held at MAXXI, Rome and the 2016 Artisti per Frescobaldi.
